While I may be doing nothing on my mathematics blog, my humor blog continues to fill with stuff I write. Less and less of it is attempts by me to be funny, which seems to be okay with people, as they mostly want to know stuff about comic strips. Here's my last week's worth of writing there:
- MiSTed: Skippy's Mom (part 6 of 12)
- Statistics September: How Many People Wanted Me To Tell Them The Phantom Wasn't Dead Last Month
- Statistics Saturday: 1980s Music Videos
- 60s Popeye: Autographically Yours, my King Features Popeye Encore!
- And Now a Bonkers Word From Our Sponsor
- Though I Am Not an Opponent of Daylight Saving Time
- What's Going On In Alley Oop? Why is Doc Wonmug visiting his past self? July - October 2022
- MiSTed: Skippy's Mom (part 7 of 12)
And now let's enjoy some more of Niagara Falls.

Another look out to the American side of the Falls.

And there we look up to the Canadian side.

We were walking up towards the actual fall point. Here's a glance back where you can see mostly the queue of people going down to the boat tours.

This is ... some old structure on the United States side of things. I'm guessing something power-related, given the style of it.

Zipline tourists taking their not-as-fast-as-you'd-fear ride down.

Looking back from around the zipline to see the Rainbow Bridge. Also you can just see that tiny little baby falls that's maybe a civic water outlet or something.
Trivia: In 1858 the United States Congress debated two plans for recovery from the Panic of 1857. The Northern/Republican plan proposed giving land to a nationally chartered transcontinental railroad, land-grant schools in each state, and more free land to give to homesteaders. The Souther/Confederate plan proposed annexing Cuba, thus making more slaves available for poorer white men to become cotton farmers or expand their holdings.
