My handwriting --- which is all-caps block printing --- got a lot simpler and more rounded from my efforts to keep up with Morse. It reduced letters like ``E'' to two strokes, quite the timesaver, and I've stuck with that even if I can't transcribe worth anything. (Using the Singaporean shortcut of putting a dash over an E to mean ``The'' I can reduce that whole word to three strokes, which is just fantastic.)
