Amazon has treated me well on ordering fronts. I've ordered something (albeit to make super saver shipping) that ended up no longer existing; they refunded it and then kept giving me said shipping. (I've yet to test their limits on that, but once you get it somehow it's pretty much guaranteed no matter how wacky they adapt your order.)
