Well, I can see I had a generically positive feeling about Billy Bragg back in the early 90s, although that's not much of a guide to anything today. Although that might have also been he came up often enough I'd either have to start liking him or go quietly crazy. That's also the environment that had me first hear a nontrivial amount of They Might Be Giants, and for that matter barenakedladies.
