It might be on the web somewhere; I think it was tied in some tenuous fashion to Singapore Idol, which is, well, you know.

I've been out of anime-watching circles long enough I'm not sure what I'd say if somebody asked my favorite anime. Maybe I Love BubuChaCha, which is aggressively a children's show, but delightful about it.
