I did feel like the Vampire was quite exciting with floor less cars, since the swing past the ground and near the trees felt much closer to the terrain and therefore more intense. The suspended cars would probably be very similar, but there is a difference between seeing the ground almost at arm's length and seeing the ground almost at your feet.
