I made about $8000 last year in "self-employment", so I had to file the full 1040OMGWTFBBQ form, with all the Schedules and stuff. I didn't owe anything in income taxes (and in fact, got some money back from the Earned Income Credit), but I did get reamed on the Self Employment Rape Tax.
