Nothing of value to say about my mathematics blog this week so let's instead take in a bunch of pictures of Sunshine from back in January instead:
Sunshine sprawled under the coffee table, one of her favorite places in the world, especially with a tablecloth to cover it.
She's giving the camera a view with her good eye. (The other has the serious cataract.)
Emerging from just enough darkness to give me one ear; I'm not worth two ears' attention.
And a better look at that ear as she considers me and my camera and what it all might mean.
Sniff! She bumps the lens to see if it's something she has to deal with.
Bye! She's not dealing with it.
Trivia: In May 1577 Queen Elizabeth I placed Edmund Grindal, Archbishop of Canterbury, under house arrest over his refusal to prohibit Puritan practices within the church. While she was persuaded against removing him from office, he never carried out any of his church duties for the remaining five years of his life, leaving the Church of England effectively without leadership.
