I can't be the first to notice, but I only realized it recently. All renowned whackmobile Michael Jackson needs is a slightly conical dome with blinking lights inside to become one of the IL series model of Cylons from the original Battlestar Galactica. The conical light dome is probably on the schedule. I wonder what he thinks of Ron Moore's remake of the show. I haven't seen the new show, but have noted the large number of Star Trek: Enterprise fanboys who hate the show with a passion on the grounds it's doing just what their show does, only it gets critical and popular acclaim, while Enterprise is credited with making Voyager look not so bad.
I'm feeling a bit lazy today so I'll fill another paragraph with a couple pictures from last week's zoo expeditions. The first is a raccoon doing a little grooming and getting ready for a nap. The other I can't help captioning, ``Waiter, I distinctly ordered a Caesar's salad.'' And from the kangaroo side of things, a perennial: ``Can't you see what I'm trying to tell you, Mrs Rittenhouse, I love you?'' More pictures will follow when I've picked out ones I like (there are hundreds) and shrunk them to the appropriate file sizes.
Trivia: English King George III made his library available to Dr Joseph Priestley (co-discoverer of oxygen, and inventor of soda water), with the proviso George be notified of Priestley's visits so he could avoid Priestley. Source: George III, Christopher Hibbert.
