Ace Drummond Chapter Seven, ``The Trackless Trail'', opens with the discovery that Ace Drummond is not dead.

( I'll say this for Dr Trainor, who's the lead Macguffin this serial so far: he may get captured a *lot*, but since it started he's been doing his best to escape, and he might never stop escaping, even after he's rescued.  )

I get how this qualifies as having a ``trackless trail''.
