You know what I'm going to do here? I'm going to make a mad dash to complete February here. It's way easier to get through the photo roll when you stop taking pictures!
Crossing over the Red Cedar River, just a little bit frozen over.
Another look at the Red Cedar River, lightly iced.
Michigan State campus. Here's a bit of art outside one of the athletic facilities.
The walk leading up to Spartan Stadium.
And here's the stadium itself. Havne't been to a football game.
More of the Red Cedar River, crossing over from the stadium towards the library.
Duck!
They ducked!
And there's the Michigan State University library. Looking forward to when I can just go there and hang out wandering around the stacks again.
Igloo that someone built in the middle of campus.
And now to Downtown East Lansing. At the far left is one of an estimated 46 ten-storey apartment buildings with chain stores on the base level that have been dropped on town in the past five years.
The D S Brolin building, housing the Curious Book Shop. You can hardly tell how the upper floor used to be an unrelated store with its own entrance and sign.
Ghost sign for the MSC Restaurant. And since you can just see the street sign for MAC avenue you've got all the old names for Michigan State University covered in one view.
Better view of the ghost sign. The building this is on eventually became Woody's Oasis, the mediterranean restaurant, but they got chased out and the place is now a Lou and Harry's bar-and-grill.
Pinball Pete's East Lansing, downstairs, like you'd hope for from a pinball venue.
One of the girl scout cookie boxes
bunnyhugger got this year had this anomaly: the flap's open outside the seal. how did this happen? ... No idea.
