Pictures for today. We had a good-sized snow in late February. In past winters she had enjoyed eating snow off a plate, so I thought to give that a fresh try.

Sunshine rises, ears up, wondering what this nonsense I'm on about is.

But is it nonsense enough to get away from her soft comfy bed and her heating pad?

She's not having it.

Not only has she turned tail on it, she's looking at it with her bad eye.

She rouses herself just barely enough to get into range, doing her best not to get up if she doesn't have to.

But, mostly, she gives me her bad eye wondering why I'm putting this on her plate.
I don't know if she ever did get around to doing anything with the snow. I didn't see anything and later on there was just a dish of cold water there. Well, she had the option; it was her business whether to take it up.
Trivia: Manfred von Richthofen's brother Lothar, also a war ace, shot down 40 enemy planes, half the Red Baron's total.
