Let me pause at the gates of Dollywood for an update on our dear pet rabbit's health. I'm getting this secondhand, because I had to be at work, waiting on results of quality-assurance testing and writing up a bunch of new nitpicky user stories for me to work on in the future. That's soothing for me.
But bunnyhugger brought Roger to the vet clinic and they judged his tear ducts to no longer be obstructed. In fact, they're so unobstructed that when the vet tried to wash out his eyes, the saline solution ran down his eyes and out his nose, where he licked it off.
So he doesn't need any eyedrops for now. Just in time for him to have kind of gotten used to how twice a day bunnyhugger would grab his head and force his eye open, and then give him two treats. He would still very much like to have the treats, but he was never interested in the eyedrop part of things.
On a slightly less fun note is ... well, he's been kind of musky lately. On examination, his scent glands look like they're in good enough shape. So the good news is there's nothing wrong with him, he's just a smelly bunny. The bad news is we can't give him an oral injection for two weeks and have his scent glands cleared up. bunnyhugger did have the interesting hypothesis that it might be related to the heat. Pretty much every gland, after all, is a mutant sweat gland; maybe the heat is affecting him and it'll be better if we go a while without the temperature breaking 90 Fahrenheit.
For today's Cedar Point Halloweekends pictures please enjoy a set of carved wood things in the combined candle shop/woodworking shop.

Replicas of a horse on the Cedar Downs racing carousel. Both the same horse, based on the saddle markings, although the mouth is more prominent on one than another. Also beside them is a log flume of the kind they haven't had in the time I've been going to the park.

Dinosaur and tiny Sky Ride cars. The sky ride cars the park still has. The dinosaur I imagine reflects that couple years they tried using an animatronic dinosaur island as an upcharge attraction, that was mildly liked its first year and then kind of present until it was removed ... I'm all but certain it's not there anymore.

Tiny replicas of a vintage Dodgem car, plus for some reason trash bins with an old-fashioned Cedar Point logo and, on the left, a Kings Island logo because ?? ???? ??????.

Replica of a trash bin, a Sky Ride car, a penguin, the Schwabinschen ride's center figure, and then roller coasters. The red-and-yellow one is Gemini; the plain red one, I'm not sure.

Rowl! Gargoyle-y figure that's been in the carving shop forever; not sure what its ultimate goal is, but it does look good, doesn't it?

Replica of one of the carousel horses, resting on the table. There's always horse heads like this and I don't know what the ultimate goal of them is.
