On my humor blog this week I paused to reflect on Bob Newhart and share a couple things that you might remember if you have an encyclopedic memory of everything that I have ever written. And then continued onward, including a weird diss on Chile in a dream that for once didn't see me shrieking in terror, a nonbinary character in a third syndicated newspaper story comic, and also a Mystery Science Theater 3000 fan fiction riff that I know meant something at some point but that I can no longer explain. I did not take a ridiculous number of photos in Cedar Point on Saturday of Halloweekends. In fact, I have a half-dozen worth sharing and then I move on to ... well, go ahead and guess, I bet you don't!

The fireplace of the glass-blowing workshop, not lit, as I assume the end of the regular season meant they weren't going to be doing glass demonstrations anymore. It also gives you an idea the contrast of light and dark in the staging.

Wandering back out into a muddy night sky; it just looks like someone spilled all kinds of paint.

More strange colors as the clouds reflect the park's lighting back on us.

The big loop of Rougarou, with a train going through it. It's not that the track is partly obscured by the clouds, honest.

Chompy plant in one of the gift shops.

Ah yes, the Peanuts line of Halloween plushes, with Woodstock as a witch and Charlie Brown as a vampire and Snoopy as a sickly sky full of bats, as seen in the special It's Body Horror Time Again, Charlie Brown.
And now it's already Sunday morning! Amazing how time flies and we're caught up to ... uh ... nine months ago now.

Here's the hotel lobby by day which, uh, you saw by day in the Thursday pictures, but from a later part of the day.

Horses with skeleton riders. They didn't seem to be interacting with people standing nearby, but when we made one last visit we got one of them to wiggle a little, so I guess they were just worn down.

Pumpkin lost to the ravages of time and maybe a bit of rain.

An old sign, formerly a park feature, and now ... well, a prop in the restaurant where we got burrito bowls that were very much okay.

Another old menu sign used as decoration. I assume it was for something near Schwabinchen or another German-themed ride.

More old signage. Not all of it was obsolete; they still call it the Frontier Town Railroad Station, and they were still calling it the Dragon's Inn --- with the same style sign --- when we visited back in October.
