Well, Verizon wanted a signature, but I could sign the ``sorry we missed you'' slip and stick it back on the window, and the package would be dropped off tomorrow.
Nice. I always thought Verizon wouldn't drop anything without a person there willing to take it in their hands. We've had them send phones from their website, from their warranty division, from their insurance claims center... and we've tried to always have someone home to take the package. I suspect now that the kids told us the 'gotta be there' story so as not to lose one precious day's phone use ;o)
I couldn't find it in the eighty meters of tape ribbon produced when I bought the phone.
Only eighty? Must be because of the contract difference from having a 'plan.' They needed an industrial stapler to attach the receipt to the bag when we went for my phone.
