I'm going to have to swat FCN folks about that. Even with the smallness of their con, they're growing enough next year they'll break 1K, and... after a thousand, the need to dramatically split lines becomes critical.
Anthrocon at its peak has 15 separate lines (8 pre-reg, 2 pre-reg sponsor, 2 pre-reg supersponsor, On-Site, On-site Sponsor/Supersponsor and Upgrades, Dealers). Our biggest problem is making sure people are in the right line. :P
