I really hope you can get an appointment before you come out here. You'll be able to get one immediately after I add you to my insurance effective on our wedding day, so it's not terrible if you can't, but I know I plan to have recently-polished teeth for the wedding. >:) And I feel you should get something out of the insurance you've been paying for all that time. Sooner would have been better so if you did have to get any work done you could do that before switching onto my insurance (since there is a fairly low cap on yearly payout, as in most dental plans), but at this point I think even if you do manage to get your cleaning appointment in before moving, scheduling any needed followups will have to be done in Lansing.
On the up side: I think my dentist in Lansing is great, and I can earnestly recommend him, so I think you'll be able to skip the "trying to figure out what dentist to go to in a new town" phase.
