I admit to slightly overplaying my reaction, but the idea of just eating some wild plant from off the ground like that was perfectly normal and a natural way to eat ... well, really! That's hard to imagine, isn't it? Thank you, but I'll be obtaining my lemons [*] by perfectly legitimate methods instead.

I'm not sure how it was we managed to keep losing the kettle corn place. We seemed to find it only when we weren't quite looking for it, and it went into hiding when we were trying to get there on purpose.
For the amount of popcorn we got, $7 isn't bad. It was easily several times the bucket-of-popcorn-at-the-movies volume, for example, and at a lesser price.
