And what has not been too much, espite it all? My mathematics blog. I'm keeping it to one, maybe two, posts a week, as you know if it's on your reading page or if your RSS reader picks it up. If you just wait for my recaps here, then, here's the recent stuff:

And now ... the finish of my Silver Bells pictures! Close out the drone show and see what I photographed before my camera completely ran out of battery.

Here the obstructed drones have gathered into a Christmas tree shape.

A particularly effective show was this, forming into a sleigh that turned around and flew 'off' into the distance, distance simulated by the lights dimming.

Among the last things was their spelling out 'LOVE LANSING', which is the name of a local pro-Lansing group that does, I don't know, stuff.

We ducked into City Hall to warm up. They had the place cleaned up and it was all empty, no provision for a choir (as usually has the stage here) or cookies or anything much.


Trivia: When learning to juggle Fred Allen bought three silk hats from a magic shop. The proprietor assured him the hats had to be specially ballasted to be juggleable; this weighting cost three dollars each. Source: Fred Allen: His Life and Wit, Robert Taylor.
