Yeah, still overloaded, sorry. New job and all. I'm sure my predecessor must have heard of the 'switch' statement so there must be some reason they weren't using it but ?? ?????? ?????? ??? ?. So while I sort that out have some Halloweekends pictures instead.

And now it's night already! I know. Here's a view from the very long, slow-moving Maverick line, looking out at the sparkling diamond that is Steel Vengeance's lift hill.

Seriously. Wood coasters (as Steel Vengeance used to be) just have such gorgeous support structures, and the lighting makes this even more wonderful.

Maverick's station! They let only two trains' worth of passengers on at a time and gave us a row assignment, so no crowding for the front seat.

Maverick loads two trains of six rows each, and dispatches them one after the other, a compromise between the ride's need to have shorter trains and the desire to get as many people loaded in one cycle.

There's six trains total and for some reason the bins are not numbered in order.

Seriously, what even is this?

Looking over my shoulder from Monster at Top Thrill Dragster's top hat. The lighting of the midway there allows for some great weird colors and shadows that I'm always an easy touch for.

Oh and then, hey, why not enjoy finding out What's Going On In Olive and Popeye? Also, what is Olive and Popeye? September - December 2022 as I recap a new web comic featuring just what it says on the label!
