I have some more pictures of the Bug Carousel.

	Here I went to the popular 'vertical' orientation for the camera and got a better look at the carousel, floor to ceiling.
	I was far too optimistic about the shutter speed when the carousel was in motion. Like most modern carousels it's not excessively fast, but then my camera isn't either.
	I didn't really get the sunniness and gloss of the carousel in these pictures, but I like to think if I went back and fiddled with my more elaborate knowledge of camera settings I might be able to do better.

Trivia: A 1907 reconstruction of Robert Fulton's original Steamboat found the original vehicle was too unseaworthy for the centennial celebration's purposes, and the design had to be changed. Currently Reading: Legacy Of Glory: The Bonaparte Kingdom of Spain 1803 - 1813, Michael Glover. I'd been reading this while eating, and an elderly couple apologized to me, as they left, for their conversation possibly distracting me. (It hadn't.) They said they'd let me get back to my studying. I started to say I wasn't studying, but then reflected, why was I reading a dusty, 40-year-old book about Napoleon's attempt to get Spain to accept his brother as their monarch and how it went all wrong? That's the sort of thing that will distract you for the rest of the McRib.
