And now I get an e-mail from someone who seems to be connected with the Lansing parking authority somehow. It reads, in all-caps, that the ``message for the Strada pals and passport app'' should be updated. I don't know what Strada is. Possibly it's the app that they've replaced actual parking meters with. But the e-mail says that it's to change the ``verbiage'' to say ``Free on-street parking - time limits enforced - Happy Holidays'', with paid parking to resume the 3rd of January, 2022.
This really feels like I've somehow been looped into an internal department e-mail. So I'm asking my friends among the fey folk for a little advice: how can I use this accident to talk my way into a paid position with the city parking authority? I'd most like one where I have no discernable specific duties, but I'm willing to do something where I have to answer e-mails, if I must.
Now to close out the Tannenbaum Farms visit with the not-fruit-bearing fruits of our labor.
Here's the downstairs tree, still bundled up and readying for its unleashing.
And here it is! You can see the nice fire we had going too, if you like.
And here's the living room, ready for the decorating. Note that Sunshine has noped out of there while the fire's going on.
