I think I've mentioned my humor blog once or twice but if you've missed it, here's the past week's writing from it:
- MiSTed: GALACTIC FEDERATION Update (Part 3 of 4)
- Although I want to feel cheer that it's Friday
- Statistics Saturday: Some books you could totally get me for Christmas
- 60s Popeye: Hair Cut-Ups, part of Seymour Kneitel-Mania here
- Reposting The Stages Of The Road Trip: Stage Three
- What's Going On In Prince Valiant? What's the story with Morgan Le Fay? September - December 2021
- 60s Popeye: Popeye Goes Sale-ing, the closest he's been to sea in ages here
- MiSTed: GALACTIC FEDERATION Update (Part 4 of 4)
Yes, there's a reason I started loading up the 60s Popeye cartoons and it's not just being swept up in Seymour Kneitel-Mania. Look it up. Now some more pictures walking around the neighborhood.
Another house decorating the porch. The street lighting helps the yard stay brighter, at the cost of keeping the lights from dominating the scene.
This is an attack on
bunnyhugger's blog. Also I find no evidence that any part of the sidewalk was closed or being repaired or had anything that needed any kind of attention.
The rare purple light strand, possibly from someone who left their Halloween decorations up.
I meant to take a picture of the Santa and reindeer at the hospital building roof but I guess my hand flinched and I got this neat effect instead.
I tried to take another picture and I guess my hand moved differently, to at least as good effect.
Aother decorated porch, this one with at least one snowman who's finding it cold. Again, it was about 60 Fahrenheit here.
Trivia: In December 1960 the Massachusetts Blue Cross/Blue Shield acquired an IBM 7070 computer. Their records of 2,500,000 subscribers were transferred to 24 reels of tape by June 1961, allowing 150 file cabinets holding punch cards of the same data to be retired. Currently Reading: With Amusement For All: A History of American Popular Culture Since 1830, LeRoy Ashby. Wait, so ``Colonel'' Tom Parker, Elvis's manager/chief exploiter, immigrated to the United States illegally? I'd never heard that before.
Belated PS: My Little 2021 Mathematics A-to-Z is taking a short break because writing is hard and so is everything else.
